Bobby Shmurda has admitted he doesn’t listen to rap music because he believes it’s “dangerous to the community”.
On May 28, The Danza Project’s YouTube page livestreamed an interview in which the “Computers” rapper confessed that he personally doesn’t listen to rap music.
Why doesn’t Bobby Shmurda listen to rap music?
At 53:01, Shmurda shared her thoughts on rap music today, expressing concern about the impact rap music has on young listeners. This would be the deciding factor why he chose not to listen to the genre.
As the Brooklyn rapper explains, “You (rappers) are chasing you (rappers)… and you’re fucking rapping about this lifestyle… It’s dangerous, it’s very harmful, it’s very dangerous to the community. These kids think things are happening that you didn’t even live.”

Bobby Shmurda advocates positive rap message
