Aliquippa – Kimesis Tis Teokou Aliquippa Lamb shank dinner, guiro, vine leaves, lemon chicken and shish kebabs are all on the menu at the Greek Orthodox Church’s annual Greek food and music festival.
The 48th Annual Festival will take place June 15-17 from 11am to 8pm at 2111 Davidson Street.
Indoor and outdoor seating is available for the three-day celebration and fundraiser.
“After a hugely successful three-day festival in 2022, we are back in full swing,” said event spokesperson George P. Casas.
Other authentic favorites include pasticio, moussaka, and an assortment of Greek pastries.
“This year, in its 48th year, we have set up a beautiful outdoor lighted tent that is over 30 feet wide and 75 feet long, with plenty of seating and an outdoor taverna (Greek for bar) for dinner from 5-8pm. ),” Casas said.
