DORMONT, Pa. — Circle October 5th on your calendar. That's the day for the 16th Annual Dormont Street & Music Festival, which will be held on Potomac Avenue from 1 to 8 p.m.
The borough announced details about the festival, which will stretch from West Liberty Avenue to Bellerose Avenue. Potomac Avenue will be closed all day for the event, which will feature live music, local food and a variety of artisan craft booths and community groups.
Presented by Liberty Pittsburgh, the Liberty Main Stage is located at the intersection of Potomac and Bellerose Avenues. Performers include School of Rock, Anna Eliza, Osprey, Rhythm of the Night Fusion, The Regal Sweet, Bastard Bearded Irishman and more.
The Gold Mountain Music Tent, presented by Moonlit Burgers, will serve as the second performance tent area, set up on Potomac Street near West Liberty and featuring Connor Parente & the Highway Mystics, Raised by Giants, The Smears, One Eye Daddies and the GMM All Star Band.
An all-acoustic set will be performed at Arsenal Cider Brew Garden on Espie Avenue, featuring Riley Galloway, Jay Wiley, Jenny Kay Snyder, Chris Rieger, Abby & Pat Doyle, MELODiQ, Andre Costello and more.
Local beers will also be served at the Arsenal Cider Brew Garden.
The Kid's Zone, hosted by the Dormont Recreation Commission, will be held on Glenmore Avenue from 1 to 5 p.m. There will be fun activities, crafts for kids and a visit to the Dormont Fire Station and fire trucks.
