ABC News Studio announced today. soul of the nation Celebrating 50 years of hip hopth Anniversary 1 Hour Special, Hip Hop @ 50: Rhythm, Rhyme, Reflection.
Future programs will feature thought-provoking conversations with artists, producers, executives and influencers in the music industry. It also delves into the history of hip-hop, providing insight into its origins, growth and evolution over the past 50 years, and the current state of pop culture.
ABC News’ fourth Juneteen primetime special includes four roundtable discussions focused on financial literacy, mental health, social justice and women’s empowerment, featuring hip-hop radio legends Hosted by Angie Martinez, it will be attended by celebrities such as Master P, The Rocks, E-40 and Laura. Brooke, Koi Liray, Joey Vada$$, Fat Joe, MC Lyte, Charlamagne the God, Michael Eric Dyson, Melissa Ford, Rashad Bilal, Troy Millings, June Ambu Rose, Shari Bryant, etc. ABC News contributors and entertainment experts Kelly Carter, Roxy Diaz and Mike Muse will also appear throughout the feature.

Hip-Hop @ 50: Rhythm, Rhyme, Reflection – Presentation of the Soul of a Nation Catherine McKenzie and Martinez will co-executive produce with In Real Life Productions. Tyne is the series director. David Sloan is a Senior Executive Producer at ABC News Studios. ABC News Studio is headed by Mike Kelley.
