Ariana DeVose has reflected on her infamous viral moment at the BAFTA Awards and admitted that it didn’t go according to her original plans.
Back in February, the 32-year-old Oscar winner caused quite a stir, with his rap commenting on each of the female nominees on the gong of the event sparking criticism on social media.
Now, the West Side Story actress has elaborated on the night, admitting that she originally wanted to play something inspired by Madonna’s hit Vogue.

“And yes, eventually the tide turned on the internet and people found what I saw there – the fun, the joy. It doesn’t mean I didn’t feel my emotions about the internet making fun of me for doing what I love.”
Although Ariana deactivated her Twitter account at the time, she revealed that she cried “once” over the whole situation that resulted from the harmful slander being sent online.
She explained: “I cried once too because I felt so bad watching her grandmother tear me apart with some really horrible things that had nothing to do with acting. is.”
