An eclectic mashup of punk, grunge, surf, and folk influences, their sound includes heavy riffs, four-part vocal his harmonies, and electric banjo. String quartet Rosette, along with cellist Peter Graydanus and violist Daniel Wiebe Burke, will perform TJ Cole’s “Play” as part of the quartet’s fourth So Hot Right Now concert series. Time: Playing 10 Miniatures for String Sextet. Born in 1993, TJ Cole (they/them) is the youngest composer to appear in this series where he brings the music of a live composer to audiences in Richmond over and over again for a month.
