With hip-hop celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, there’s been a lot of excitement returning to the genre. Artists old and new put on shows to celebrate a genre that pushes boundaries, and many have made millions of dollars and helped their dreams come true. Apple Music, in particular, is doing its part to celebrate by inviting select artists to stream their songs exclusively on his platform. Among them was Baby Tate, who posted a reinterpretation of an old Ludacris song called “My Biznazz.”

Aside from this weekend’s surprise appearance, we recently witnessed Saweetie and the Atlanta native teaming up for “Hey Mickey!” A remix that has recently become a hot topic on TikTok. Other recent initiatives by Tate include: mani pedi Her mixtapes and collaborations with both Babyface and JID continue to earn her many accolades.
