Los Angeles Sentinel: Where are you from and where do you live now?
the mall: I’m from the Los Angeles area, grew up in East LA, lived in the county during my childhood, and now live in Los Angeles.
Russ: How often do you perform; how do you prepare?
the mall: As often as possible! I perform all the time and take the opportunity to connect and interact with people. I’ve been averaging about 1-2 times a week lately.

Russ: What is your creative process? How do you make music?
the mall: My creative process is constantly changing. I like to live in the moment, especially making and creating music. Most of the time I write and record music solo in my home studio so I can really immerse myself. I also collaborate with multiple people in the studio and jam out.
Russ: What is your favorite song in the catalog?
the mall: This is a tough question, but I have to say “ONG”. It’s just bop and you can tell people really love the song.
Russ: How would you classify your music?
the mall: New Age Hip Hop/West Coast Hip Hop.
Russ: Who would you like to collaborate with?
the mall: Doechii, Lola Brooke, Kendrick, Lil Wayne, Tyler the Creator.
Russ: Who inspires you?
the mall: Life itself, my journey, my family, my friends. Artists: Lil Wayne, Tyler, The Creator, Freddie Gibbs, Nicki Minaj, Lauryn Hill, Queen Latifah, MF Doom)
Russ: Do you have a new project?
