BTS released a trailer to promote their first upcoming book. The Other Side of the Story: BTS’ 10-Year Record.
The book, co-written by BTS with journalist Kang Myung Suk, will be released on July 9 to mark the group’s 10th anniversary. This day in July is also the day the fandom name ARMY was confirmed (aka ARMY Day).
In the trailer, the book appears to be split into seven chapters to chronicle the K-pop giants’ story so far.
Chapters 1 and 2 are called “Seoul” and “Why We Exist”, and the trailer explains these sections with early archival footage of BTS.
Chapters 3, 4, and 5 are titled “Love, Hate, ARMY,” “Inside Out,” and “A Flight That Never Lands,” including the 2015 break-hit “I Need U.” featured a clip of
“The World of BTS” and “We Are” are chapters 6 and 7, respectively, which show BTS during their superstar era with video snippets of hit songs like “Boy With Luv” and “Dynamite.”
The book, which revolves around interviews with stars, has been published in 23 languages, including Korean, English, and Japanese.

Beyond the Story: 10-year Record of BTS has been the subject of feverish speculation among Taylor Swift’s fans, who even before the book’s release began to believe it was a memoir by the pop star. I believed it would. The rumors were so strong that the non-existent Swift book became a bestseller.
Tomorrow (June 17th), BTS will celebrate their 10th anniversary with a concert in Seoul.
