City Girls are gearing up to conquer the summer’s ‘luxury pussy rap’, and have just released two new singles to kick things off.
On Friday (June 9), JT and Yon Miami gave fans a one-two punch with the release of “I Need a Thug” and the Southside-produced “Piñata.” The former is his inversion of his 1987 classic “I Need Love” on LL COOL J.

“Like any project, we just felt like we were having fun. We didn’t think about it or think too much about it,” said Miami. “We were just writing songs and putting them together. Now it’s just like we’re thinking about these records and figuring out what’s great.”

Since the release of the second album City on Rock In 2020, the Florida duo has been consistent with numerous singles, including 2021’s “Twerklater” and 2022’s “Good Love” with Usher.
Their latest release, Act Bad, was released in May and is a collaboration between City Girls, Diddy and Fabolous.
