Culturas are one of the most distinctive Tejano bands, having won numerous awards since releasing their self-titled debut album in 1992.their second album Culture Shock It won gold and produced big hits such as “Roko, Roko” and “Golpet Trader”.The band was recognized by Tejano Music Awards 1993 “Most Promising Band of the Year” and 1995 “Show Band of the Year”. After Dee Burleson left the group in 1995, the band became Delia y Culturas, although Delia was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 1996, she maintained her status from fans.
