Who is behind OffBeat and what does each bring?

Off Beat was founded by the OpenLab team including CEO TinTin Chambers, Music Director Alex Wolfenden and Development Director Ralph Lawson. We have extensive experience in both production and curation within our team. Our CEO, Tintin Chambers, was originally responsible for one of Britain’s most influential and legendary raves, Energy. Meanwhile, Ralph Lawson is the founder of the iconic label 20 20 Vision.

What was the idea that came up with this?

OffBeat is an extension of OpenLab as a platform and champions of more alternative directions in electronic music. At OffBeat, we wanted to create something a little fresher in an island where the avant-garde eclecticism that once made Ibiza so famous is disappearing.

What niche does this party fill, what are the gaps in the market, what new quince are you aiming for?

Ultimately, we want to offer discerning audiences a curated musical experience. We bring many cult DJs who no longer have a home there to the island, as well as some of the best emerging artists to debut with us.

What is the reservation policy information?

We are already booking artists we support on OpenLab, artists we love and respect musically. We bring to the island many cult DJs who no longer have a place on the island, such as Ivan Smudge, Optimo, Errol Alkan and many more. We also take some of the best emerging artists debuting with us like Adam Pitts and Manami. . Sean Johnson may make his first appearance in Ibiza as “Love from Outer Space”. Highly anticipated!

What is your music policy? What kind of sounds and scenes are you looking for? And what is the reason?

It is an eclectic musical policy centered around quality underground selectors who have taken the ‘off the beaten track’ route and are highly skilled in their areas of expertise. We give DJs the creative freedom to be themselves. This is something many people cannot do on a large Balearic dance floor.

Please tell us about the venue. Why is this venue a good fit?

NUI is perfect for this venture. It’s an intimate, quaint warehouse on the outskirts of the city that’s more Berlin than Balearic. Equipped with a luxurious and huge function 1 system, it is very suitable for free party style. The antithesis to super clubs, but very cool.

Will the party be broadcast on the station?

Broadcast and record all sets from OffBeat and host them on OpenLab.

What are you most proud of that you’ve achieved?

It really was just a matter of convincing artists to join this mission. Supporting this project has been truly humbling and reassurance that we are doing the right thing.

What are you most looking forward to about this new party?

Dance with your friends to your favorite DJs and artists in the right party setting. Not so much in Ibiza.
