Dirty Boxing’s Miami event brought heat to South Florida in more ways than one. The no-gloves fight league, founded by combat sports icons Jon Jones and Mike Perry, lit up the city with an action-packed card, major knockout moments, and a star-studded crowd.
UFC legends like Jon Jones, Yoel Romero, Tito Ortiz, and Andre Berto were spotted ringside, alongside influencers including Jack Doherty, Robert Wilmote, the Nelk Boys, and the Island Boys — proving the event was as much about culture as it was combat.
But the night’s spotlight belonged to rising heavyweight Rob “Wolf” Perez, who delivered a thrilling first-round TKO victory over UFC veteran Alex “The Spartan” Nicholson. Nicholson suffered a sudden knee injury during a striking exchange and had to be stretchered out of the cage.
Wolf’s walkout, accompanied by a live performance of “Dirty Boxing Anthem” by artist Jake Canney, set the tone — and Perez doubled down afterward, quoting the song’s lyrics on the mic: “Talk shit, get hit!”
During the post-fight interview, Wolf declared, “I belong to Dirty Boxing,” and was officially announced by commentator Jason Anik as the next title contender. He’ll face former UFC standout Jairzinho Rozenstruik in the main event of DBX3, where the league’s first championship belt will be up for grabs.
Perez capped it all off by walking straight over to Jon Jones at ringside and calling him out face-to-face — a bold move from a fighter who looks ready to lead Dirty Boxing into its next era.
