DJ Khaled can add models to his resume.
The hip-hop mogul hit the runway for his first fashion show at the Boss Spring/Summer 2023 show in Miami on Wednesday. Arrived with Campbell to give me some modeling tips.
“They said I’d never be a model, so I’m walking the runway with Naomi Campbell. ‘Call me Hugo, Boss!’
The We the Best boss gave a motivational speech to the crew and fellow models backstage before taking a practice walk with the supermodel.
“This is a legend,” he said. “First runway show. They said I could never walk a runway show. They’re wrong. Who am I walking a runway show with now? Naomi Campbell.” It’s my first big runway show with the Queen.”
It was time for his big moment. Despite the stormy conditions, Khaled climbed down the catwalk without any problems, but admitted the slippery floor was difficult.
“@boss @naomi, thank you for having me,” he wrote. “That runway was slippery, but nothing stopped me! God did [email protected] All categories! ! ! ! ! it was really fun ! “
I walked arm in arm with Naomi, with a waterfall-like fountain behind me. “You did it!! Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
When not working as a model on the side, Khaled continues to build her empire. He recently announced a partnership with We the Best and Def Jam. He will release his future albums on the label and will act as a global creative consultant for Def Jam’s artists.
