Numbers don’t lie, even if they disagree with you. Many fans may be disappointed, but there are only three rappers at the top of the list.
At least, according to Rap Caviar, it’s “hip-hop’s most influential playlist.” For hip-hop’s 50th anniversary, they’ve introduced an illustrated list of the most streamed rappers on the platform.

Unlike Chartmasters.org, which constantly updates Spotify’s most-streamed artists based on actual streaming numbers, Rap Caviar does not provide any underlying data for rankings.
So Post Malone, who has 10 songs with over 33 billion streams and over 1 billion streams on Spotify, has Kanye West, who has 29 billion streams in books and 2 songs in the Billion Club. It’s hard to explain why is ranked third. Not included in the list of wrapped caviar at all. Did the staff intentionally skip a line in the spreadsheet, or did someone banish Posty from hip-hop the moment we took our eyes off it?
Still, it doesn’t really matter to us because whatever is behind this drama doesn’t affect Marshall’s ranking on this list in any way. With a 40-year career and music loved by all generations, Eminem comes out on top right next to the incredible Canadian streaming giant. By the way, Eminem just hit the milestone of 40 billion total streams just last week.
