Jim Jones recently gave his thoughts on who the greatest hip-hop of all time was and garnered a response from Drake.

Weeks after their joint performance at the Apollo, Drake and Dipsette’s mutual respect continues. In January, despite his ankle injury, Drake performed his performance of SiriusXM’s Apollo live at his theater. In addition to the impressive performance, Drizzy brought out his Dipset, unique to Harlem, and gave them flowers.

“They from here in Harlem made us dress differently, talk differently, walk differently, rap differently all the way to Canada. So please, my New York pride, Dip! Make some noise for the set,” said Drake.

Dipset is very grateful for the opportunity to take the stage with Drake and continues to show his love for Billboard’s record-breaking artist.

“I would say he is the greatest ever” Jim Jones said in an interview with complicated. “I’ll give it to him, I mean, there are a lot of people who invented hip-hop from the beginning. It’s an ongoing relevance, and it seems like every song he’s put out has gone multi-platinum, something that’s never happened before in history.”

Drake has so far had eleven No. 1 hits on the Hot 100, the most of any rapper. Back in the summer of 2021, Drake officially had the most Top 5 hits in Billboard Hot 100 history with 30 hits, surpassing the Beatles’ record of 64 years.

“I mean, there are a few other people who do astronomical numbers like that, but he’s really into it. You know what I mean? Every angle of music. Get the party started.” It’s not a place I don’t play a Drake record for, he moves around here like a real Bruce Wayne, he’s my spirit animal, I’m not taking it from anyone else, but I’m taking it for granted. You have to give it credit.” Jim Jones said.

Getting wind of Jones’ acclaim, Drake reacted to his official IG account, sharing a photo of Jim Jones in Cam’ron’s infamous pink coat.

Drake recently announced a joint tour with 21 Savage titled ‘It’s All A Blur’ Tour. The tour will begin in New Orleans on June 16th and will conclude in Arizona. Boston, Atlanta, New York and Florida are some of the states the duo hits.
