A new website was launched this week to help songwriters understand the different datasets and code they need to ensure they get paid.
This is all part of the economics of the ongoing music streaming business, instigated by the UK government in response to parliament’s old massive inquiry into the digital music business.
The new online guide follows the recent announcement that a metadata agreement has been signed by the UK music industry and that a new working group has been convened to discuss issues and disputes surrounding the remuneration of music producers. be.
