See yourself as Executive Director of an exciting up-and-coming ensemble?

Australian Haydn Ensemble (AHE), One of Australia’s leading historical orchestral and chamber music groups under the direction of Artistic Director Skye McIntosh. AHE brings together world-class musicians who excel in playing both modern and period instruments and are passionate about both historical research and performance.

Founded in 2012, AHE celebrated its 10th anniversary with five-star Adelaide and Canberra Festival reviews. Since 2018, AHE’s box office has grown by 220%, demonstrating the enthusiastic audience response to this dynamic ensemble. They are renowned for their regional tours and deep commitment to youth participation. Later this year, AHE will be invited to open the new Australian Embassy in Washington, which will be the centerpiece of their debut USA tour.

To provide strategic, financial and organizational leadership to this small and growing organization, AHE will work closely with the Artistic Director to develop a dynamic and supportive artistic leadership for its Executive Director. is looking for a leader. Successful candidates will have a deep understanding of running a hectic ensemble tour schedule and managing the organization’s marketing, governance and reporting needs, as well as advanced skills to unlock additional revenue streams from private sector and government sources. must be equipped with

This position is full-time and based in Surry Hills, central Sydney. You need the flexibility to fit work and tour schedules, manage multiple stakeholders and timelines. Competitive salaries are negotiated with successful candidates.
