Fantagraphics to Omnibize Ed Piskor’s ‘Hip Hop Family Tree’

Fantagraphics Books collects 4 volumes of Ed Piskor hip hop family tree With a new omnibus containing not only the 360-page series, but also over 140 pages of additional material, including original covers and pages. hip hop family tree A comic series never before collected. hip hop family tree It started as a webcomic on BoingBoing and was later picked up by Fantagraphics, where it published the first three volumes, serialized four in magazine form, and then merged into one volume. It also published Volumes 1 and 2 as a box set with a bonus comic (see “Hip Hop Family Tree” Vol. 2). Volume 2 of the series earned him the 2015 Eisner Award for Best Reality-Based Work, and Volumes 1 and 3 were also nominated in that category.

Fantagraphics also announced Red Room: Cryptokillers, A new 4-issue miniseries by Piskor, the follow-up to his Splatterpunk series red room (See Fantagraphics Unveils Ed Piskor’s ‘Red Room’). The series includes variant covers by Momoko Peach and Jim Wragg.
