FKA twigs has officially canceled her scheduled appearances at this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, as well as Mexico City’s Ceremonia Festival and all other North American tour dates slated for April. The British singer-songwriter cited ongoing visa complications as the reason behind the unexpected cancellations.
“I’m completely devastated to share that, due to visa issues, I won’t be able to perform any of my scheduled shows across North America this month,” twigs shared in a heartfelt message to fans on social media. “I’ve been looking forward to seeing you all so much, and this truly breaks my heart.”
The announcement affects several key cities, including San Francisco, New York, and Toronto, where fans had anticipated her return to the stage. This marks the third time FKA twigs has had to cancel a performance in Mexico, leaving fans frustrated and questioning the logistics behind the repeated visa setbacks.
While her April tour has been scrapped, the artist is still scheduled to perform in Europe later this year, with additional U.S. dates expected in the summer if the visa issues are resolved. Twigs assured fans that efforts are already underway to reschedule affected shows, and ticket holders have been advised to contact their point of purchase for refund or exchange information.
Coachella, known for its high-profile performances and star-studded lineups, has seen several lineup changes this year. For the latest updates on the festival, visit the official Coachella website.
Twigs remains optimistic about returning to the North American stage soon. “I’m doing everything I can to make things right,” she said, “and I can’t wait to be back with you all.”
