Born Edward Craig, Sr. in Ypsilanti, Michigan, RSN’L’s life story unfolds like a powerful testimony of faith. Raised in Englewood on Chicago’s South Side, he grew up amid poverty, violence, and constant uncertainty. Despite the harsh environment, his mother instilled perseverance and a belief in Christ, giving him a foundation that would later save him. Surrounded by gang activity and survival pressures, RSN’L faced battles that could have derailed his future forever.

A life-changing connection to Camp BeechPoint Christian Camp at age 12 sparked a new path. Those summers away from the city gave him glimpses of faith, fellowship, and purpose. When he returned to Chicago’s tough streets, his faith was tested repeatedly. At 17, he took a leap of courage, leaving everything familiar behind in pursuit of God’s greater plan.
