Girls learn about music technology and theory at Bose headquarters in Framingham

FRAMINGHAM – Bose teamed up with the Ron Barton Training Village to host girls at its headquarters in Framingham on Saturday.

The girls learned about music technology and theory, then had the opportunity to design and build their own instruments. The girls said they enjoyed the opportunity to learn from the experts.

“When I entered the venue, I thought wow, this is a really big place. Cary Alves said.

“The building is amazing,” Alma Mwangi said. “The experience and workplace where students and young people like us can come and experience all this is just amazing, absolutely incredible.”

Saturday’s event was part of a focus on empowering women in STEAM fields such as science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
