When it comes time for new music to be released each week, hip-hop never disappoints. This week, the artist involved in the YSL RICO affair releases a surprise album, everyone’s favorite rap stoner releases a new mixtape, and the rap veteran releases his sixth full-length solo album.
Ganna Drops gift and curse plan
Ganna has remained relatively quiet to date since being released from prison in December 2022 after making a plea bargain in connection with the YSL RICO case. On Friday (June 16th), the Altanta rapper released a surprise album. gift and curse.
Earlier this month, Wana released a song called “Bread & Butter” that referenced a snatching allegation after his release last year.
“I never made a statement and never agreed not to take a stand against them,” he raps on the song, referring to being misunderstood by lawyers and prosecutors in his case. I guessed not. “Lawyers and prosecutors have been sleazy. I’m hooked on it / Ps and Qs and this time I’m prepared,” he added.
His new album follows the 2022 effort DS4Ever (again drip season 4 ever). The LP shot to number one on the Billboard 200 chart for the week of January 22, 2002. The LP’s standout track is ‘Pushin P’ featuring Young Thug, now part of the hip-hop lexicon.

Wiz Khalifa Drops Then mixtape
Wiz Khalifa surprised his legions of loyal fans earlier this week with a new mixtape titled Well then.
The 25-track tape features several weed party anthems and guest appearances from Chevy Woods, Young Desi and Lil Vada.before dropping ThenWiz delivered the visuals of the IAMSU-produced banger “Close Frame”. The video shows the leader of the Taylor gang partying and smoking cannabis at his mansion with a group of bikini-clad women.
Then Following Rymer’s last album in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania multiverse The 17-track LP was largely produced by Hitmaka, who produced five tracks for the project, but also included contributions from studio wizards like Scott Storch and Bankroll Got It.

killer mic drops solo album Michael
Killer Mike’s solo project for the first time in over 10 years, Michael.
The 14-song collection features a star-studded guest list including CeeLo Green, Young Thug, Mozzy, Blxst, Ty Dolla Sign, Curren$y and 2 Chainz. Commenting on his own amazing guest appearance, Mike wrote on his Instagram page that all the artists involved in the project are like family.
“I saw someone say I collected the Avengers [four cry-laughing emojis] “But I talk a lot about community, and the making of ‘MICHAEL’ was no different. I needed the help of my peers to realize what I wanted to create,” he types. Love and respect to everyone who worked with us on this piece…I really can’t wait for you all to hear this song in full. ”
