We sat down with Anaymous Touch to learn more about her story, creative process, and vision for the future.
Q: Tell us a bit about yourself—where you’re from and what inspired you to pursue music.
Anaymous Touch:I was born in Miami, raised in New York City, and now I’m based in Houston, Texas. My journey into music began five years ago after a life-changing event. I lost my home in a fire, and that moment shifted everything. God gave me a vision through music—a collection of Christian rap songs—and I knew I had to follow that path.
Q: Your latest track, “Valleys,” has been making waves. What’s the story behind it?
Anaymous Touch: “Valleys” is a reflection of my personal struggles and spiritual growth. It came from a place of surrender, where I had to trust God to guide me through one of the hardest times in my life. The lyrics tell the story of losing myself, physically and spiritually, but finding peace through faith. The process of recording it was deeply emotional—almost like a release.
Q: Can you share a favorite lyric from the song?
Anaymous Touch: Definitely. One part that really resonates with me is:
“Looking for me,
I lost myself,
Looking for me,
I lost my health,
I can’t find my breath,
Yes, my mind in distress,
Must be another spiritual test.”
It’s raw and honest—exactly how I felt in that moment.
Q: What’s your approach to creating music? What makes your sound unique?
Anaymous Touch: I’m drawn to Gospel, Jazz, and instrumental genres like handpan and violin-infused hip-hop. I prefer music without words because I believe the vibrations themselves can tell a story. My goal is always to create something that heals, inspires, and connects people to God. Authenticity is key for me.
Q: How do you see the current music industry, especially the genres you’re passionate about?
Anaymous Touch: The secular music scene often focuses on perversion and illusion—it’s far from what I believe music should represent. But I’m hopeful because there’s a rise in Christian rappers and artists who are staying true to their faith. I think we’re seeing a shift, and I’m excited to be part of that change.
Q: What advice would you give to young artists trying to find their path?
Anaymous Touch: Let God guide you. Don’t waste time chasing validation from others—seek acceptance from God. Be intentional with your work and invest in your dreams. Personally, I balance my music career with my work as an alternative therapist and investments in stocks and crypto to fund my vision.
Q: Who are your dream collaborators?
Anaymous Touch: I’d love to work with Nicki Minaj and Tasha Cobbs. Throw in Kirk Franklin and Maverick City Music, and I think we’d create something timeless.
Q: Where do you see yourself in the future?
Anaymous Touch: By the grace of God, I see myself successful, sovereign, and continuing to heal others through music. My focus is on inspiring youth and creating music that embodies peace, surrender, and authenticity.
Q: Any final words for your listeners?
Anaymous Touch: Life’s valleys can be tough, but they’re where we grow the most. Trust the process, and remember, it’s always a #GreatDay4Gratitude. I give all glory, honor, and praise to God for guiding me on this journey.
Q: Where can people find your music?
Anaymous Touch: “Valleys” is available on all major streaming platforms, but if you want to support directly, it’s on my Bandcamp. You can also follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to stay connected.
Through her vulnerability and unwavering faith, Anaymous Touch is carving a path that’s as inspiring as it is refreshing. With every note, she invites listeners to turn their own valleys into a journey of healing and spiritual growth.
