Idaho Falls singer to appear in upcoming episode of ‘American Idol’

Idaho Falls — Sixteen-year-old Page Ann, who attends high school in Idaho Falls, recently took a big step towards becoming a professional singer. In the next episode of ‘American Her Idol,’ she shares her big moment of Anne with the world.

Anne’s audition will be included in the episode of “Idol” on Sunday, March 19. The Zone Sports Grill will host a watch party celebrating Anne and her band Almost Famous performance.

Ann said that her “idol” audition brought her a little closer to realizing the dream she had been aiming for since childhood.

“I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember. I started playing around town when I was eight,” Anne told EastIdahoNews.com. “It just grew from there.”

Anne’s love of singing is rooted in how music moves people and how she connects with them.

“In general, music speaks to people in a different way,” she said. “It touches a different part of your brain and I see my music as a way to communicate with people. I love making connections with people and hopefully I can spread the message.”

An “idol” fan growing up, Anne came to see the show as a way to help her reach out to a vast number of people and share her musical abilities.

“It’s always been my dream to do something like ‘American Idol,'” she said. “I always watched ‘American Idol’ grow up and one of my favorite[‘Idol’ contestants]him was David Archuleta. I see you traveling.

The audition for “Idol” turned out to be a little different than what Anne expected.

“Actually filming[the audition]takes a few days, and those days are hard work,” she said. “I would wake up at 5:30 in the morning and leave work around 10 at night. I was waiting for

Speaking of judges, Anne auditioned in front of an all-star panel of Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie.

“I was confident in my interviews. I was never scared of acting,” she said. “But as soon as the door opened and I walked in, I was like a deer with headlights on. bottom.”

“I can sing in front of thousands of people, no problem,” she added. “But when it comes to a more intimate setting… I mean, there were three high-ranking judges sitting in front of me. It’s very intimidating, but I did it.

Fortunately, Anne has one advantage. Her mother accompanied her to auditions and provided her invaluable support.

“My mother is my biggest supporter,” said Anne. “She’s always been there for me. She believed in me when some people didn’t. She was always there. She was always my hype man.” So, of course, I had to take her to my “American Idol” audition.
