Manchester City defender Kyle Walker will face no criminal charges by police following an incident at a Wilmslow bar.

However, the England star was punished with an out-of-court disposition and the investigation is now closed.

Following The Sun’s report, Cheshire Police said they were “aware of a video circulating on social media” of an alleged incident in Wilmslow earlier this month.

The newspaper accused Walker of lewd exposure, but there was no mention of lewd exposure in the police statement.

Police are currently investigating and have not formally charged or threatened the England international.

Out-of-court dispositions are non-statutory orders and therefore do not form part of a criminal record.

A police spokesman said: “On Wednesday, March 8, the Cheshire Police Department became aware of a video circulating on social media related to an alleged incident at a bar in the Wilmslow area.

Officers have now completed an investigation that includes speaking to direct parties.

A 32-year-old man from Prestbury voluntarily turned himself in to the police station for questioning on 16 March.

“He has been dealt with out of court and the matter is now resolved.”
