Malayalam cinema’s most famous actor-director duo, Mohanlal and Priyadarshan, are currently working on an ambitious project, Malaka: Arabica Darinte, which is touted as the most expensive project in the history of Malayalam cinema. The historical drama is planned as a multilingual project and will be released simultaneously in all major Indian languages.
Malakah: Arabica Darinte Simham features Mohanlal as the famous character Kunjali Malakah IV. The recently released Priyadarshan project Sneak His Peak was widely acclaimed by the audience. Reportedly shot primarily at Hyderabad’s Ramoji Rao Film City, the film is in need of major his VFX work. The team has been busy with the film’s post-production for the past nine months.
