Kano Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has argued that, contrary to what many people think, politics is not a dirty game.
He made the disclosure Thursday in Abuja at the NAF Conference Center Kad during the launch of a book titled “Unfinished Greatness: A New Nigerian Vision” by Governor Ekiti. Kayode Faemi.
according to Gandujethe fact that many people see politics as a dirty game is the reason why so many able minds and intellectuals avoid being politically active.
But politics needs intellectuals, so he called on such people to change their minds.
“Politics is not a dirty game” Ganduje said.
“We are witnessing intellectualism in governance and intellectualism in politics. Without a doubt, this is a welcome development.
“It is good for intellectuals to participate in politics, because they analyze and guide people, because there are always conflicting variables.
“In Nigeria, intellectuals are afraid of governance because they see politics as a dirty game. But politics is not a dirty game. There is a link between intellectualism and governance.” Ganduje has been added.
