No one saw this coming. Pras Michel of rap group Fugees was revealed to have been an informant to the FBI.
Vibe reports that Michelle testified at the conspiracy trial on Tuesday (April 18) and admitted to providing information to the FBI.
Michelle was a U.S. informant at the time that China planned to “hand over dissident Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui with the backing of now-fugitive Malaysian investor Joe Low.” rice field. He also said he met with FBI agents several times to talk about Guo and the three Americans who were taken hostage in China.
“I decided to report it myself because I thought the FBI should know,” Michelle said in her testimony.
Michelle has pleaded not guilty to federal charges of conspiracy and falsification of records and is currently on trial. The indictments relate to Low’s crimes, including allegations that he stole his $4.5 billion from the 1MDB Sovereign of Malaysia’s Wealth Fund.
Michelle told Rolling Stone magazine that she met Law when she was considering going into politics “to help people,” but later learned that politics wasn’t his calling.
