Project 412’s Michelle Meyer said, “It’s password-protected, so you have to email me to get access[to add an event],” said Project 412’s creation of the website. “It’s very easy,” Meyer said of the event’s submission process.
Once the request is submitted, Project 412 staff will verify that all event information is accurate before adding it to the calendar. Each calendar entry also includes the artist and a website link to the event (e.g. Tracks & Tunes, Tuesdays in the Park) or venue (e.g. Holmes Theatre, Zorbaz, Pitt 611, Cormorant Pub) that the artist appears in. increase. Meyer added that he hopes to eventually add more events as people learn about the website and what role it plays in promoting live music in the area.
