Last Thursday night (August 1st) was a night we will never forget. After weeks of preparation, Music Session and Fanning-Dempsey National Park – an instantly iconic combination Bernard Fanning (You're probably best aware of Powder Finger) and Paul Dempsey (For Kate) – performing their amazing debut album, The Flood.
The atmosphere at the Outpost Bar in Brisbane (Mean Gin) was electric. Richard Kingsmill In hosting, we locked the first full spin The Flood (Literally, we played the record on the vinyl it was originally released on) and learned all about it with some very insightful commentary from Fanning and Dempsey.
