Starting this summer, several hip-hop icons will host shows on the audio storytelling platform. In addition to the names above, Public Enemy’s Chuck D and DJ Drama will also be featured.
Kicking off the series on June 15th is a show by West Coast hip-hop pioneer Snoop Dogg. words + musicOn , the rapper discusses his journey from Long Beach to the world and his decision to pursue love and life over death and destruction.

DJ Drama Presents: Gangsta Grillzexplores the super-producer’s dynamic reign as the star of the mixtape industry, and features his occasional collaborators Lil Wayne and Tyler, The Creator.
Last but not least, on August 10th, one day before hip-hop’s birthday, Chuck D’s can you dig it? It takes listeners back to the 1970s in South Bronx, New York, when the genre was in its infancy.
