The Cure frontman Robert Smith has announced that Ticketmaster will be issuing partial refunds to fans following complaints that the site charges too much.

“After further discussion, Ticketmaster agreed that many of the fees being charged were excessively high and, as a gesture of goodwill, offered all verified fan accounts the lowest possible ticket price deal.
