Veteran hip-hop artist Tony Yayo is upset over Lil Uzi Vert’s recent “Satan” lyrics from a performance at the Rolling Loud Music Festival.

The three-day event was held at the Hollywood Park Ground. IInglewood, Calif., March 3-5.

Yayo was part of 50 Cent’s collective G-Unit. He was recently questioned about a performance in which Philly rapper Lil Uzi Vert mentioned Satan during his set.

During a live performance, Lil Uzi rapped, “Making a city girl believe in Satan.”The lyrics come from an unreleased record that may be included in Lil Uzi Vert’s upcoming project ‘Pink Tape’.

The City Girls are an American hip-hop duo consisting of Yung Miami and JT. Born Jatavia Shakara Johnson, JT was married to Uzi.

“I believe in God. I don’t know about stuff like that. It’s crazy,” Yayo told TMZ, adding that Uzi had “overdone it.”

Born Marvin Barnard, Yayo is best known as a member of G-Unit, the hip-hop group she formed with childhood friends 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks. The group started in 1998.

Born Symere Bysil Woods, Lil Uzi Vert has been active since 2012. These pronouns are often used by people who identify as non-binary.
