The noteworthy summer transfer market continues to gear up as Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham continue to weigh spending amid stunning reports of Kylian Mbappe’s £259m move to Saudi Arabia, but the player is expected to decline.
The Gunners, who are already well over £200million, are now reportedly interested in competing with Chelsea for Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise. Mohammed Kudus has also been targeted by both clubs, with the Blues’ bid for top midfield target Moises Caicedo stalled on the price side. Up front, Montpellier striker Eli Wahi remains Mauricio Pochettino’s top target.
As for the striker, Manchester United are poised to make a £60m bid for Rasmus Hojlund but cannot afford to take him as they are not expected to take a new approach to Harry Kane for fear of being rejected. Meanwhile, Tottenham have named Randall Kolo-Muani as a replacement should Kane join Bayern Munich. Follow us for all the latest transfer news, gossip and rumors below!

Zaha: The Unpredictable Genius Who Became a Palace Legend
When Wilfried Zaha came off the bench for Crystal Palace’s debut against Cardiff in March 2010, the modest 17-year-old didn’t immediately emerge as a star candidate.
But it wasn’t long before he terrified defenders with his incredible skill, precision dribbling and breakneck speed that would define his career.
“He’s playing cage football in the Premier League,” said former teammate Kwesi Appiah. “He’s a hell of a hell of a player and a legend at Palace.”
Zaha joined Galatasaray on a free transfer last night after scoring 90 goals and 76 assists in 458 appearances for Palace.
According to club chairman Steve Parrish, the boy who grew up at Thornton Heath has gone off as the club’s greatest ever player.

Mbappe sets €60m loyalty bonus
Kylian Mbappe will receive a loyalty bonus from Paris Saint-Germain if he is still a player by August 1st.
The forward has no plans to extend his contract and will leave next summer on a free transfer unless PSG sell him.
But stick with it for another week and you’ll have 60 million euros. This is worth noting.
Willian is the reunion of Hudson and Odoi
Fulham have agreed personal terms to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi and Willian wants his former Chelsea team-mate to join Craven Cottage in the future.
“If he comes here it will be good for us and I hope he comes,” he said.
“I don’t know if he will participate. I haven’t spoken to him. I’ve seen him in the newspapers and the media and I’m waiting! He’s a very good player.”
Willian is delighted with Silva’s decision
Willian is delighted that ‘one of the best managers in the Premier League’ Marco Silva will stay at Fulham this season.
Silva was offered £40million on a two-year contract to manage Al Ahly in Saudi Arabia, but refused to stay in West London.
Willian, who had a successful return to England last season under Silva, was happy that his manager stayed on despite his rejection of interest from other countries wanting to stay at Fulham.
he said: “It’s good to have him with us. He’s a top coach. For me, he’s one of the best coaches in the Premier League.”

Spurs accept £13m bid for Sanchez
Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez is considering an offer from Spartak Moscow.
Spurs have accepted a £12.9m bid, but Sanchez has yet to agree to personal terms.
The 27-year-old has also attracted interest from other clubs, including Galatasaray, Real Betis and Sevilla, but it remains to be seen whether he will be willing to move to Russia in the current climate. Russian clubs have been banned from playing in Europe following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Sanchez has fallen down the pecking order at Tottenham and is due to leave this summer, entering the final 12 months of his contract.

“Amazing Zaha is the best in palace history”
Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parrish said today that Wilfried Zaha is leaving the South London club as the greatest player of all time following a move to Galatasaray.
Zaha joined the Turkish champions on a free transfer after rejecting an offer of a new £200,000-a-week deal to stay at Selhurst Park.
“After a long discussion it became clear that Zaha ‘wanted another challenge’,” Parrish said, adding that the loss of the 30-year-old forward was a major blow for Palace with less than three weeks until the start of the new season.
Palace are optimistic that Zaha will sign a new deal, with manager Roy Hodgson admitting the club “are losing an iconic figure”. Zaha joined Palace at the age of eight and has played 458 senior games for the Eagles, scoring 90 goals.

Why Mbappe signing for Saudi Arabia is good news for Spurs
Saudi Arabia are willing to spend more on Kylian Mbappe than on Newcastle United.
Mbappe has sensational talent, but even in a sport where transfer fees have reached enormous levels, the numbers are outrageous.
Al Hilal have offered the Paris Saint-Germain forward a world-record £259million, which could make him more than £600million a year when image rights are included.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham are said to be interested in the 24-year-old, but none of them look realistic for a move this summer.
Mbappe is unlikely to join Spurs, but PSG want to sign Harry Kane, raising the possibility of a jaw-dropping swap deal.
Whether or not the Spurs will be able to pay his massive salary is highly unlikely, but Daniel Levy will be watching closely how the transfer story unfolds. Mbappe’s price will drive the market up and Spurs could point his price in the negotiations over Kane.

Spurs want ‘at least one’ new centre-back
Tottenham want to sign “at least one” new centre-back this summer, manager Anju Postecoglou has confirmed, amidst interest in Edmund Tapsova, Mickey van de Ven and Tosin Adarabioyo.
Davinson Sanchez will need a replacement as he considers a move to Spartak Moscow. Blackburn’s Ashley Phillips is understood to be close to a move but is not expected to count against the first-team centre-back need.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Tapsova and Wolfsburg’s van de Ven are two key targets, with long-standing interest remaining in Adarabioyo, who is expected to leave Fulham this summer.
“We would like to have at least one,” Postecoglou told reporters in Singapore. “No frustration [over delays in completing signings] – It’s just the world of football. “

Shakhtar still wants Spurs to pay Solomon transfer fee
Shakhtar Donetsk chief executive Sergey Palkin plans to meet Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy over the transfer fee for Manner Solomon.
Solomon, who spent last season at Fulham, joined Tottenham on a free transfer earlier this summer, taking advantage of FIFA’s Annex 7 Amendment.
Due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine last year, foreign players and coaches from Russian and Ukrainian clubs have been allowed to unilaterally suspend their contracts until June 2024.
Solomon’s contract with Shakhtar was due to expire on December 31, 2023, so he was able to suspend his contract with Shakhtar beyond the expiry, allowing him to join Spurs as a free agent.
