Downtown Albert Lee was alive with activity on Friday night and Saturday during the Eddie Cochrane Car Show & Music Festival, despite a drizzle on Saturday.
The festival honors Eddie Cochrane, an American rock and roll musician of the 1950s and 1960s who was born in Albert Lea and spent much of his childhood there. He is considered a rockabilly pioneer, best known for hits such as “Summertime Blues” and “Come on Everybody”.
