This weekend marks the return of one of the most popular events in the Cincinnati metropolitan area: the Voices of America Country Music Festival. The event will take place August 8-11 at Voice of America Metropark in West Chester, bringing popular country music artists to the area. Are you heading to the festival this weekend? Located at 7850 VOA Park Drive, the park is over 430 acres, providing plenty of space for the annual festival. Only clear bags will be allowed inside the festival. This year, there will be general admission, VIP and ADA parking available on the park grounds. Additionally, the City of West Chester has announced that several nearby parking lots will be available for use during the four-day festival. For $30, attendees can park at Lakota East High School and receive four shuttle passes to travel to the festival grounds. For $20, attendees can also park at the West Chester Church of the Nazarene. Parking will not be permitted at local shopping centers during the festival. Additionally, temporary “No Parking” signs will be installed on the following roads to keep traffic flowing around the festival grounds: Tylers Way, Pepper Pike, Long Meadow Drive, Chestnut Hill Lane, Castlerock Lane, and Birch Hall Drive. Additionally, “No Parking” signs will be installed on the shoulders of Tylersville Road, east-west, outside the VOA Museum, between Cox Road and Butler Warren Road. The temperatures and humidity were high in Greater Cincinnati earlier this week, but have dropped by the time the outdoor festival begins. A stronger cold front will bring cooler weather over the final weekend of summer for those planning to attend the festival, with rain possible Friday night, but temperatures will struggle to reach the 80s by the weekend.

Where can I park?

Parking for this year's Voices of America Country Music Festival will be divided into three segments.

This year, there will be general parking, VIP parking and ADA parking on the park grounds.

Additionally, the city of Westchester announced that several other nearby locations will also be available for parking during the four-day festival.

What's the weather like?

The Greater Cincinnati area experienced high temperatures and humidity earlier this week, but temperatures and humidity have dropped in time for the outdoor festival.

A stronger cold front will bring cooler weather over the final weekend of summer for those planning to attend the festival.
