The BET Awards 2023 nominations have been announced, with Beyoncé and rising girl group FLO on the shortlist.
The Destiny’s Child legend earned a total of four nominations, including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and “Renaissance” Album of the Year.
Meanwhile, FLO, who was named one of RETROPOP’s Artists to Watch in 2023, was nominated in three categories, including Best New Artist.
Drake topped the list with 7 categories, Glorilla topped 6 categories, and 21 Savage and Rizzo topped 5 categories each.
The nominees were selected by the BET Voting Academy, made up of prominent entertainment professionals and influencers in the fields of music, media, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations and creative arts.
The BET Awards 2023 will be broadcast live on BET on Sunday, June 25th at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.
