According to new legal documents obtained by The Blast, Stevie has filed a declaration of disclosure in his ex-husband’s divorce case. This is an important step in an ongoing divorce case, essentially acknowledging that one party has provided all financial information to the other party. In most cases, this is a good indicator that the case will be resolved quickly.
Stevie J filed papers in Los Angeles County Court this week. This is a good thing, because this divorce was going to be ugly.

Just a few weeks ago, Stevie was ordered to surrender a Mercedes Sprinter van that the singer’s ex-wife reportedly stole. Reportedly, SJ went to Coachella in his family’s car and didn’t get his wife’s “permission.”
She claimed to have paid for the car with $164,000 in cash and demanded immediate possession of the car.
On April 12, 2023, Stevie allegedly received her keys after falling asleep and drove to a festival in Palm Desert, Calif., in a Mercedes van. At the time, she filed a police report that her car had been stolen, and a judge ordered her car returned.
“Insurance does not apply [Stevie]And he is not allowed to drive,” the original document states.
The former couple also fought over financial assistance, with Stevie J demanding spousal support and money from Evans. Shockingly, the two music icons didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement before getting married. Considering they both have money and royalties in the music business, this is highly unlikely.
Back in 2020, the relationship hit rock bottom after Faith was arrested on domestic violence charges after someone reported an altercation to the police. Police rushed to the couple’s home in Los Angeles, “found marks on Stevie’s body,” and arrested Evans. The case was dropped after Stevie refused to testify in criminal court.

Interestingly, the couple attempted to reconcile after their divorce after Stevie publicly announced that he wanted Faith back as his wife. “Faith Rene Jordan, I have hurt, disrespected, and humiliated you in front of the world. Starting today, I promise to listen to your feelings and be more sensitive to your heart. I will,” he wrote on social media.
He continued, “I also promise to make you grow further and communicate with you every day, respect and love you until you are as happy as when you were married.” Stevie “Lesson learned,” J said, “God knows I’m a better man to be with you. I hope you will find it in,” he said clearly.
