Acclaimed music publisher Arcade Songs is leaving Midtown to expand into a new boutique office building at 60 Charlton Street in Hudson Square.
Arcade is headed by Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Greg Wattenberg.
This recording and writing studio has collaborated with John Legend, Dean Lewis, Enrique Iglesias and more.
Growing from just over 4,100 square feet at 587 Fifth Avenue, the arcade’s new home will occupy 18,970 square feet at 60 Charlton Street and is owned by APF Properties and Drake Street Partners.
The owners were represented by the JLL team, which includes Vice Chairman Mitchell Consker and Executive Managing Director Benjamin Bass.
Arcade was represented by CBRE’s Alex Damario and Gary Davis.
Asking rents were in the $90s per square foot.
The building features a hotel-style lobby and an outdoor rooftop deck. Konsker said its design and amenities will allow the arcade to “leverage the vibrancy of Greenwich Village, Soho and Tribeca while seamlessly connecting with clients and collaborators.”
